AIMS Diagnostic Care has yesterday opened a new branch of the clinic in Hulhudhoo, Addu City.

The new clinic was officialy inaugurated by the councillor for Hulhudhoo constituency, Mr. Ibrahim Shukuree and councillor for Meedhoo constituency, Mr. Hiyaz Hassan.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Managing Director of AIMS, Mr. Ali Ihusaan said that the main aim of opening a clinic in Hulhudhoo is to make the most efficient healthcare readily available in the island itself, so that the citizens of Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo will no longer have to cross the seas to access healthcare services.

“The biggest aim of opening AIMS Clinic in Hulhudhoo is to provide convenient and easily accessible healthcare services to citizens of Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo”, said Ihusaan.

Additionally, Ihusaan also said that the management and staff of AIMS continuously work towards providing services that meet the expectations of citizens of both the islands.

Speaking at the ceremony, councillor for Hulhudhoo constituency, Mr. Shukuree said that the opening of the clinic was the beginning of establishing an efficient healthcare system in the island.

“Since I became the councillor, the biggest worry of citizens of both these islands have been the journey they have to make in order to access healthcare. Putting an end to those journeys is one of the things I worked for. Today marks the beginning of it”, said Shukuree.

Moreover, councillors Shukuree and Hiyaz Hassan also thanked the team of AIMS for establishing such a service for both the islands.

A general practitioner will consult at the new clinic every day of the week, while a specialist will consult at least once a week, said AIMS.

In addition to this, while patients can give samples for medical tests at the centre, they can also collect the results and reports for the same from the centre itself, without having to travel to Feydhoo.

AIMS Diagnostic Care, which aims to provide the best healthcare to citizens of Addu City, is party owned by Mohamed Naeem, a successful businessman, who is also a shareholder of Happy Market.
