The Social Support Desk of Hithadhoo, Addu City has requested all citizens of Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo who have been trapped in Hithadhoo since Hulhumeedhoo was placed under monitoring, to report to the SSD as soon as possible.
SSD Hithadhoo has requested all citizens of Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo stuck in Hithadhoo, who wish to travel back to their islands to inform to SSD.
SSD Hithadhoo also said that the Southern Transport Link (STL)’s ferry will depart to Hulhumeedhoo from Feydhoo harbour at 16:00 today.
Hulhumeedhoo, Addu City was placed under monitoring by the Health Protection Agency of the Maldives after some expatriate workers at Hulhumeedhoo MTCC site tested positive for Covid-19. The entire city of Addu is also currently under monitoring after two people who consulted the Flu Clinic in Hithadhoo tested positive for the coronavirus.
