13 MPs from the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) have joined the ruling People’s National Congress Party.
The members signed up for the PNC at a special meeting held Thursday night at Dharubaaruge yesterday.
The members who signed up for PNC are:
- MP for Maradhoo constituency – Ibrahim Shareef
- MP for Feydhoo constituency – Mohamed Nihad
- MP for Mahchangolhi South constituency – Ahmed Haitham
- MP for Isdhoo constituency – Ali Hameed
- MP for Kan’ditheemu constituency – Abdulla Shaheem Abdul Hakeem
- MP for Kurendhoo constituency – Abdul Ghanee Abdul Hakeem
- MP for Mathiveri constituency – Hassan Zareer
- MP for Mulaku constituency – Ibrahim Naseer
- MP for Nilandhoo constituency – Abdul Muhsin Hameed
- MP for Maafannu South constituency – Adam Ali
- MP for Komandoo constituency – Mohamed Rashid
- MP for Thoddoo constituency – Hassan Shiyan
- MP for Guraidhoo constituency – Ibrahim Shaaz
The members handed over their signatures to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and PNC’s Chairperson, Abdul Raheem Abdulla during the event.
