The Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA) has revealed that additional 248 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Maldives.

According to HPA, up to 18:00 today, a total of 26,795 recoveries have been recorded, with a recovery rate of 69.56%.

While the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Maldives have risen up to 38,520, the number of active cases stands at 11,629.

The statistics released by HPA state that a total of 6,208 samples were tested today.

Additionally, while 247 people are currently seeking treatment in the hospitals, a total of 87 people have died from the disease across the country.
