The Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA) has revealed that additional 1,637 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Maldives.

According to HPA, up to 18:00 today, a total of 40,951 recoveries have been recorded, with a recovery rate of 62.84%.

While the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Maldives have risen up to 65,164, the number of active cases stands at 24,035.

The statistics released by HPA state that a total of 5,685 samples were tested today.

Additionally, while 208 people are currently seeking treatment in the hospitals, a total of 169 people have died from the disease across the country.
