Maldives has recorded an additional 768 new positive Covid-19 cases today, confirmed the Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA).
According to the latest statistics publicized by HPA, 373 from the Great Male’ region, 357 from inhabited islands, 15 people from operating resorts and 15 from islands under development tested positive for Covid-19 today.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the Maldives up to 65,164.
HPA’s statistics state the 768 positive cases were detected from 5,685 samples taken today.
The number of active Covid-19 cases have risen to 24,035, amongst which 208 people are being treated in the hospitals.
