The first telecommunication company in Maldives, Dhiraagu has announced payment extension and payment plans for its customers facing economic challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a part of continuing efforts to support the administration and the community during the pandemic Dhiraagu has implemented several measures to help its customers to stay connected during this time. Under its newly introduced plans, customers are given bill payments up to 2 months from bill creation date. Additionally, customers facing financial difficulties are provided with payment extension and payment plans upon request.

Dhiraagu stated the company will continue to wavier late payment charges and reconnection services to all its customers. Moreover, the company stated services will not be disconnected for customers registered unemployed due to the pandemic until the end of June.

Dhiraagu has provided great support to the community during the pandemic, including free data allowances and discounts to cater for all its customers. Furthermore, the company supported President’s initiative to ensure greater ease of access to internet in Maldives.
