Addu International Airport (AIA) has brought changes to the entry and exit from the airport.
In a statement released by AIA, public will only be allowed to enter and exit from the airport from 0600hrs to 1800hrs every day, effective from March 26. Additionally, AIA stated individuals travelling from a night flight are advised to arrive at the airport 30 minutes before the checking and airport will be closed 30 minutes after the flight takes off.
Moreover the Addu City Council has decided to close all business avenues after 1800hrs every day, effective from March 26 in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the nation.
