Addu International Airport Pvt Ltd (AIA) has received the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) registration and Station accreditation at GAN from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
AIA revealed in a Facebook post today that the company accomplished the requirements of ISAGO Standards and Recommended Practices (GOSARPs) after a successful and comprehensive audit carried out by IATA of GAN International Airport in areas of Organization and Management (ORM), Load Control (LOD), Passenger & Baggage Handling (PAB), Aircraft Handling & Loading (HDL), Aircraft ground Movement (AGM), Cargo & Mail Handling (CGM).
Speaking about this, Managing Director of AIA, Gais Naseer said that the registration is a complete achievement for the airport and proves the importance of the audit as well as the safety and security of passengers.
Furthermore, Gais also called on all employees to work together to improve the quality of the airport in the future. Gais encouraged the employees to work to improve the quality of service provided while maintaining safety and security. He also called upon the staff to work towards making Gan International Airport become an airport of remarkable quality. In addition to this, he thanked and congratulated all the employees of the airport who worked hard to achieve this success.
The AYATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations is a standard used in determining the quality of technical practices and other related practices in the field of air transport. This standard has gained great trust and confidence among airlines and the company provides relevant training to those working in the field before conducting audits.
