Reethi Beach Resort has been placed under monitoring for second time regarding two individuals in the resort showing COVID-19 like symptoms.
Spokesperson of National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) Mohamed Mabrook Azeez has stated Reethi Beach Resort is under monitoring following a Maldivian and a foreign nationals showing COVID-19 like symptoms. Mabrouq stated the two individuals are currently being tested for the virus while the Health Protection Agency (HPA) is conducting a contact trace of both the individuals.
Reethi Beach Resort was lock down for monitoring last week following a foreign national showing COVID-19 like symptoms. Later the individual was tested negative for the virus.
