Four candidates have applied for the presidency of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s Fuvahmulah City constituency.
MDP yesterday announced that Ahmed Mujthaba Abdullah, Mahilanbumaage/Maadhadu, Hassan Wasif Hussain, Falhagadige/Funaadu, Saudulla Ahmed Hassan Didi, Nooreefehi/Funaadu and Mohamed Noor Ahmed, Lucky/Malegan have applied for the post.
The position was opened following the resignation of the former president of MDP Fuvahmulah City, Mohamed Nizam hassan.
The by-election for the vacant post of the MDP Fuvahmulah City President will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
