In light of the spread of diarrheal disease, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has urged people to take precautionary measures.

The HPA has warned people to be wary of some other symptoms of the disease.

Mild coughing, dizziness, excessive fatigue, dehydration, and decreased urination are among the symptoms of the disease, according to the agency.

Symptoms such as frequent vomiting, blood in the vomit or fecal matter, and abnormal abdominal pain may also occur; in such cases, patients are advised to consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Additionally, it’s crucial to recognize the disease’s symptoms and take preventative measures.

The agency has suggested some measures to prevent the disease from spreading.

For their own and others’ safety, the HPA has advised people to use ORS (Oral rehydration salts) packets frequently, drink liquids such as water and soup, and wash their hands thoroughly with soap after using the toilet and before preparing food.

The agency has also advised students not to attend school until the symptoms subside, and employees to stay at home and avoid going to work.
