For the first time, a cafe with robot-waiter has opened in the Maldives.
Ocean Bubbles, a cafe in Hulhumale’ that has already gained a lot of local support, has opened their second location in Male’ with the addition of a robot waiter. Aishath Nahula, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, formally inaugurated the cafe, which is housed in the building where the Ooredoo office used to be on Majeedhee Road.
Although other technologically advanced countries employ such robots, this is a completely new concept to the Maldives.
According to reports, Ocean Bubbles offers a selection of boba tea with delicious, refreshing, and unrivalled flavours as well as premium coffee drinks among other items.
Customers will also have access to free Wi-Fi and wireless charging stations are also provided at the cafe.
