The Constance Generosity Challenge 2024, an annual event held by the Constance Hotels & Resorts has concluded.
In this challenge, employees from eight properties of Constance compete to see the team that can travel the most kilometres on their exercise bikes. The cash prize is calculated by converting the total kilometres into US Dollars which was then donated to the Maldives Cancer Society.
The Generosity Challenge was held on October 3 this year. A total of 57 staff from Constance Halaveli Resort participated in the challenge and covered 394 kilometers, achieving the 2nd rank in the event.
The $1970 (one thousand nine hundred and seventy) raised by Halaveli Resort at this year’s challenge was donated to the Cancer Society of Maldives.
The donation was handed over to the Cancer Society of Maldives by the Hotel Manager of Halaveli, Vidyadhar Patole while the Assistant Executive Manager of the Cancer Society of Maldives, Rihsan Latheef accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.
Rihsan said that the organization will use the funds for cancer screening activities already being carried out by the Cancer Society of Maldives.
Halaveli Resort said it was pleased to donate the proceeds of the challenge to a worthy cause in the community.
