Maldives has recorded a whopping 734 positive Covid-19 cases yesterday, confirmed the Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA).
According to the latest statistics publicized by HPA, 540 from the Great Male’ region, 186 from inhabited islands, 07 people from operating resorts along with 01 from industrial islands tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the Maldives up to 32,665.
HPA’s statistics state the 734 positive cases were detected from 4,787 samples taken yesterday.
The number of active Covid-19 cases have risen to 7,109, amongst which 198 people are being treated in the hospitals.
