The Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA) has revealed that additional 168 people have recovered from Covid-19 in Maldives.

According to HPA, up to 18:00 yesterday, a total of 14,772 recoveries have been recorded, with a recovery rate of 87.36%.

While the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Maldives have risen up to 16,909, the number of active cases stands at 2,075.

The statistics released by HPA state that a total of 438,240 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in Maldives, including the 3,944 samples tested yesterday.

Additionally, while 204 people are currently seeking treatment in the hospitals, a total of 55 people have died from the disease across the country.
