Maldives Police Service marked its Memorial Day today in remembrance of all officers who lost their lives in line of duty.
The head office of police, Shaheed Hussain Adam Building along with Iskandharu Building and police stations across the country hoisted the police flag at half-staff today in celebrating Police Memorial Day. The ceremony saw a minute of silence to honour police officers who had fallen in the line of duty.
Police memorial day is marked annually on July 23, honouring the death of Sergent Adam Haleem who was brutally murdered while on duty on July 23 2012.
