Secretary General of the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC), Shifaq Mufeed has resigned from the party and signed up for the People’s National Front (PNF).
In a letter addressed to PNC’s president, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Histo said that with the current progressions in the party, he does not believe that the party can be led in the desired direction and therefore, is resigning from the post of SG and membership of the party as of today.
The Election Commission (EC) has approved the formation of the People’s National Front (PNF) last night. The party is currently working to reach the required number of members to get it registered.
