AO News hosted a one-day media camp for Baa Atoll School’s senior students and teachers. As part of the school’s media debut, a camp was organized on Saturday to provide technical training and information about the sector.
CEO of AO News Shimla Ahmed presided over the meeting. The media camp also emphasised the value of journalism, its basic elements, and the fundamental skills needed to practice it. They built a digital studio using resources from the school and instructed youngsters on how to report on events taking place there.
To assist in establishing school media in classrooms all throughout the nation, AO News has already run a program akin to this one called “School Media Camp.”
By providing knowledge and skills to the students active in media clubs, AO News is aiming to familiarise schoolchildren with the media and provide the essential training to the students in the sector.
