MNDF Southern Area Command, S. Hithadhoo Fire Station conducted a basic fire awareness class today for the students of Sharafuddin School, Hithadhoo, Addu City.
49 students of Sharafuddin School participated in the class.
MNDF has revealed that a varity of essential information such as causes of fires, ways in which fires can spread, components of fire, basic fire extuingishing, and how to use fire extinguishers and fire blankets were explained to the students during the session. Furthermore, students were also shown in practice how to fight fires and were taught fire fighting skills.
Today’s class was taken by the soldiers of MNDF Southern Area Command, S. Hithadhoo Fire Station.
