Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appointed chief judges to the Civil Court and Criminal Court of the Maldives.
JSC said that the commission has decided to appoint Uz. Adam Mohamed, Maathila, Lh. Hinnavaru as the chief judge of Criminal Court and Uz. Ahmed Nimal Junaid, Fehige, GA. Maamendhoo as the chief judge of the Civil Court.
The JSC decided this at its meeting held on 03 May 2023. The appointees were presented with their letters of appointment today.
