A joint operation by Addu city Gan police station and Police Intelligence led to an arrest of a 19-year-old local male from S. Feydhoo.
Police stated the individual was arrested during the operation on June 23. Later the residence of the person was searched under a court order. Suspected drugs were found in a packet at the residence.
Arrestee was taken to Feydhoo magistrate court and given an order of 15 days arrest to further investigate the case.
The case is presently being investigated at Addu City Gan police station.
