“Equator Village,” located in Gan, Addu City, near Gan International Airport, has been nominated for the World’s Leading Airport Hotel at the World Travel Awards 2025.
The World’s Leading Airport Hotel award recognizes the world’s most desirable destinations that provide unparalleled hospitality and services near airports. Equator Village was selected for this award after years of promoting tourism in the Maldives and providing sustainable tourism in its most perfect form, competing with major hotels around the world in this field and achieving success. The World Travel Awards, the most prestigious awards in the tourism industry, are known worldwide as the “Oscars of the Travel Industry.”
