Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has announced Maldivian airline will be operating repatriation flights from Trivandrum, Indian and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to evacuated Maldivians residing in those cities.
Minister Shahid stated details of the repatriation flights from Trivandrum and India to evacuate the Maldivians in those cities will be announced soon.
Moreover, Manager of PR and communication of Maldivian airline, Moosa Waseem stated considering seat availability in the flight the airline will provide opportunities to all Maldivian nations residing in other cities to return back to the country as well.
Additionally, the airline has arranged a 50 seat flight from Colombo, Srilanka scheduled for Sunday and a 200 seat flight from Cochin, India scheduled on Monday to evacuate Maldivians in those cities.
