The new Al-Madarsat-ul-Arabiyat-ul-Islamiya building is currently under construction. Dr. Ismail Shafiu, the Minister of Education, formally inaugurated construction on the new structure at Barrack No. 381 on the location of the former landfill.
In addition to 42 classrooms, science labs, multipurpose halls, and a playground with turf for kids, the 10-story Arabiya School building will offer underground parking.
The Arabiya School’s development was significantly delayed, causing parents’ dissatisfaction.
On September 29, 2022, the construction of Arabiya School and Ameen Construction Private Limited was turned over. Nevertheless, work on the Arabiya School has not yet begun. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s week 14 initiative involves constructing The Arabia School’s new building.
