According to Mohamed Saeed, Minister for Economic Development and Business, President Muizzu has proven his legitimacy as the head of state throughout the first three months of his term.
“President Muizzu is a very responsible leader who is accountable to the people,” tweeted Minister Saeed.
Minister Saeed’s remarks were made the day after President Mohamed Muizzu tweeted about the President’s Office launching “Voice of the People,” a unique platform that allows any person to voice concerns and ideas at any time.
President Muizzu has made a concerted effort to govern by listening to the people, in contrast to previous administrations.
In order to work closely with the people on the platform, he has been visiting to islands across the country. Through the Ask Forum, he responds to people’s questions instantaneously.
