Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed Fathimath Thaufeeq as the new Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
She was initially nominated as the MD of SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC), however, the nomination was latern withdrawn. She was appointed the MD of MMPRC on Sunday.
Fatimath Thaufeeq holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (hons) from Open University, Malaysia and a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of West England. Having also graduated from Villa College with a Diploma in Business Administration, Fathimath Thaufeeq is a seasoned professional in her new position. She previously held important roles at WAMCO as the procurement and administrative manager and Jalboot Maldives as the HR & administrative manager.
Her varied experience and background are anticipated to have a positive impact on MMPRC’s mission to promote and develop the Maldives tourism industry.
