MPL has announced 100 new jobs with daily salary to coincide with the impending presidential election. A notice from MPL states that individuals undertaking the job will receive RF 500 each day.
Other government-owned companies have increased their availability of these positions in the run-up to the elections. Numerous employment opportunities have been created by state-owned businesses in the recent by-elections. They received positions at a variety of corporations, including STELCO, Fenaka, etc.
Transparency reports claim that the government has created more than 15,000 jobs in an effort to sway the election. The current administration is under fire from the opposition alliance for allegedly making overt and covert attempts to influence the elections.
