Wave Sound by 3S Maldives has been nominated for the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2020 under two categories.
Wave Sound by 3S Maldives has been nominated in the categories of Leading Guesthouse Award and Leading Eco-friendly City Hotel. The guesthouse also recently won the Leading Eco-friendly Guesthouse Award at the Maldives Travel Awards 2020.
While nominations for the SATA 2020 have been opened until 29th February 2020, this year’s show will see nine new award categories. Therefore, a total of 52 awards will be given out at this year’s ceremony.
Over 500 travel and tourism business operators have been nominated for SATA 2020. Some of the Maldivian names leading the nomination list include UI Hotels, UI Maldives, Adaaran Club Rannalhi and Ace Travels Maldives. Amongst these, UI Hotels and UI Maldives have been nominated under three categories.
Highrise, the Maldives-based event management company which organises the show has said that SATA 2020 will be held in the Maldives.
