Maldives Police Service has launched the search for a man missing from Male’ City.
The Police have identified the missing person as Ali Arif (46 yrs), Sunny Lodge/S. Hulhudhoo. Police said he was reported missing by his family on February 16. He is a fisherman who currently lives in Male’ and was last heard from in December 2022, his family said.
Meanwhile, police said that all relevant police departments have been informed of the report of Ali Arif’s disappearance and the search for him is still underway.
The Police have requested anyone with information about him to contact the police hotline at 3322111 or Villimale’ Police Station at 9790083.
