The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, H.E. Abdulla Shahid sent a message of felicitations yesterday to H.E. Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of The Gambia.
In his message, Minister said that it is his pleasure to extend warm felicitations and best wishes to H.E. Dr. Mamadou Tangara, the Government and the people of The Gambia on the joyous occasion of their Independence Day.
Furthermore, Minister also said that it is his earnest hope that the ties of friendship between Maldives and The Gambia will continue to flourish. He also conveyed his personal best wishes for H.E. Dr. Mamadou Tangara’s good health, and for continued peace, progress and prosperity to the people of The Gambia.
