Some of the employees working in Addu Nature Park have been alleged of multiple cases of corruption, and the issue has been submitted to the People’s Majlis.
According to AO News sources, the case was submitted to the parliament by a common citizen.
One of the allegations stated in the case submitted by the common people is that some employees offer services of the Nature Park in violation of the rules and regulations, and simply upon mere requests of some people.
The case was investigated by the Environment and Climate Change Committee of the parliament and was submitted to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on 04th November, 2019.
However, the government has not released any further details about this case so far.
