Nasheed claims that the person tweeting as “Hassan Kurusee” on Twitter is not him.

Nasheed tweeted this in response to a discussion regarding GST between MP Rozaina Adam and Hassan Kurusee.

Hassan Kurusee responded to Rosina’s tweet, which claimed that during the Nasheed’s administration, multiple uninhabited islands were distributed to his close pals. Rosina retorted to Hassan Kurusee’s tweet by saying the account had been “exposed” to be run by Nasheed.

Nasheed stated on his official Twitter account that the Hassan Kursee Twitter account is not his. However, he claims that it is an embodiment of his personality rather than Nasheed himself.

Earlier, several politicians have also accused Nasheed of using a bogus account.

The account, owned by ‘Hassan Kursee,’ has also been accused of tweeting anti-religious messages.
Prior to this, Nasheed had previously created a Twitter account called “Another Dhivehiraajje.” When others pointed out that it was Nasheed running the account, he eventually acknowledged it and said it was his “unofficial” account.

The account in the name of Hassan Kurusee has now been verified. However, the verification badge was obtained by purchasing the badge with the recent change in Twitter’s rules.
