Former Deputy Secretary-General of MDP Aishath Aniya has left the party.
In a letter addressed to the Secretary-General of MDP, the president requested that his name be removed from the party’s list from today onwards.
A copy of the letter addressed to the Secretary-General of MDP has been tweeted. However, he noted that the party has now run out of direction.
Aniya left MDP after Imthiyaz Fahmy failed to win the election held to elect the party’s chairperson.
