“Taza” mineralised water brand has stated false claims on the quality of the mineralised water bottle on social media is false and denied all accusations towards the company on social media.

Addressing the following accusations towards Island beverages “Taza” water brand managing director for the company has addressed the following via social media. According to Managing Director of Island Beverage Maldives – Ibrahim Anwar, “Taza” follow all MFDA, HACCP and ISO 22000 regulations and quality standards on food safety/water bottling. Further stated all relevant authorities conduct regular audits and maintain quality certifications.

Anwar also noted that each batch is tested on an hourly basis and the whole batch is kept in incubation until the results come before issuing to the market. Anwar assured all customers that no contaminated/quality compromised water will go to the market.

The company’s Managing Director further advise not to spread false information via any platform that would affect the company’s reliability and advised to stop creating fear in public about the Island Beverage. The company has also come out with a press release addressing the following issue and provided assurances to customers on the water quality of the “Taza” brand.
