Application is open for NGOs in Maldives to take part in this year’s “SWEEP” or Sustainable Growth for Women Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion program by Madhya Pradesh Association of Women Entrepreneurs (MAWE).

The event will be held in Jabalpur, India from 6^th to 7^th September 2019.  The main objective of this two day event is to offer fresh opportunities for women entrepreneurs to build networks find new national and international markets and learn more about national and international policy developments that create a more favorable environment for women entrepreneurs.

SWEEP 2019 will comprise of an International Symposium to address the sustainable development goals for facilitating women in trade through exports to improve economic outcomes for women by integrating gender into trade policies for export and trade barrier.

• International Exhibition to provide opportunity for women entrepreneurs to display and sell their products and services and have access to bi-lateral trade.
• MAWE Achievement Awards to recognize Global Women Leaders, women entrepreneurs and exporters and will be accompanied by a gala fashion show with an opportunity for each country to showcase their best

Associations from Maldives including Addu Women’s Association (AWA), Maldives Women’s Chamber of Commerce (MWCC) and Southern Community Empowerment Association of Maldives (SCEAM) will be participating in this event.
