Addu City has recorded an additional 7 cases of COVID-19.
According to Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH)’s latest statistics, 6 positive cases from Hithadhoo and 1 positive case from Maradhoo was reported till 18 hrs of today. The report further stated all individuals tested positive are direct contacts of previously reported cases.
Addu City has reported a total of 317 cases of COVID-19 including the 7 additional cases reported today. While a total of 226 individuals have fully recovered from the virus, the number of active cases stands at 89. Among these, 3 patients are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
AEH reveals that so far, a total of 5448 samples have been tested for COVID-19, amongst which, 114 samples are those that were tested in the last 24 hours.
