The Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services has opened applications for this year’s Rehendhi Award.
According to the announcement released by Gender Ministry this morning, applications for the award are open from today onwards until 14:00 on 28th February 2021.
Rehendhi Award has been conferred by Gender Ministry since 2014 in recognition of outstanding contributions and services made by individuals, institutions and organizations towards development of women and protecting the rights of women.
The award is also given in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by women towards national development.
According to Gender Ministry’s announcement, individuals, institutions, women’s development committees, clubs and organizations can submit nominations for the Rehendhi Awards.
The terms and conditions of the categories of the award and application form can be downloaded on Gender Ministry’s website and will also be issued from the ministry itself and Family and Children’s Service Centres established around the country.
Applications for Rehendhi Award 2021 can be submitted to Gender Ministry’s reception or via email to [email protected] between 09:00 and 14:00 on working days of the week before the deadline.
