Discussions have taken place between Addu City council, and event planners are to make arrangements to hold the Aqua bike World Championship 2022 in Addu City.
UIM Aqua bike World Championship 2022 event organizers and Addu guesthouse operators congregated on the 30th of January in the Council office.
In the congregation, the organizers have highlighted that Addu City is an ideal destination for the event.
The event is to be held in association with Powerboat Association of Maldives, Ministry of Tourism , MMPRC and UIM
According to the organizers, Addu City has all the facilities and conditions needed for the event, which will be a big factor in making the event go smoothly. The organizers have also stated that, this event will lead to major improvements and benefits for the tourism sector of Addu City.
H2O Racing Limited has also discussed with the city council member highlighting the event.
The trip the organizers made to Addu City, and the discussions were greatly made successful with the helpful guidance of the Tourism Ministry as a celebratory event to celebrate the 50th year anniversary of tourism in Maldives and to promote the beauty and the hospitality of the southern most atoll, Addu City.
UIM Aqua bike World Championship was last held in Kuwait.
