The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. İbrahim Yumakli, paid a courtesy call on H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Tuesday. The meeting was held at the Presidential Guesthouse, Türkiye.

President Dr Muizzu underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships in existing areas of cooperation, both within the bilateral and multilateral spheres.
The conversation also encompassed promoting and enhancing bilateral trade, with a particular focus on the agriculture and fisheries sectors in the Maldives. President Dr Muizzu and Minister Yumakli deliberated on implementing training programs tailored to the needs of the agricultural industry.
