The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of condolence to H.E. Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, following the tragic fire that occurred in the Abai region of Kazakhstan.
In his message, Minister Shahid said that he was deeply shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news of the devastating forest fires in the Abai region of Kazakhstan.
In his message, Minister also conveyed sympathies and condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and those impacted by this tragic incident, on behalf of the the Government and the people of the Maldives.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, and all affected by the tragedy, and we wish for the quick recovery of the injured”, the message read.
