H.E. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and H.E. First Lady Fazna Ahmed hosted a state luncheon for H.E. President Mr Wavel Ramkalawan and H.E. First Lady Mrs Linda Ramkalawan of the Republic of Seychelles and their delegation on Monday afternoon at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi. President Ramkalawan is on a state visit to the Maldives at the invitation of President Solih. Cabinet ministers and senior government officials from both countries attended the luncheon.
During the visit, President Solih and President Ramkalawan met to discuss matters of mutual interest. The two leaders presided over bilateral talks between the two countries, focusing on strengthening relations and cooperation. The Maldives and Seychelles signed four agreements as part of the state visit. The signing ceremony was presided over by President Solih and President Ramkalawan.
In the morning, President Solih and President Ramkalawan delivered a joint statement after talks and the signing of agreements between the two countries.
