The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sent warm greetings and good wishes to His Excellency Enrique Manalo, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Philippines, on the occasion of the 125th Independence Day of the Philippines.
In his message, Minister said that Maldives and the Philippines continue to enjoy close bonds of friendship founded on shared values, mutual understanding, and goodwill.
“I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further elevate our relations to greater heights”, reads the message.
Minister also extended best wishes to His Excellency Enrique Manalo’s good health and success, and for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the people of the Philippines.
