The Maldives Association of HR Professionals (MAHRP) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Great Place to Work Sri Lanka, marking a major step toward enhancing workplace culture and human capital development in the Maldives.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the 6th National HR Convention & EXPO 2026 held in Malé on Sunday. The agreement was formalized by Kshanika Ratnayaka and Ahmed Ibrahim, highlighting a shared commitment to promoting global best practices in human resource management.
The partnership aims to strengthen organizational culture, leadership, and employee experience across workplaces in the Maldives. Through this collaboration, MAHRP will represent and promote Great Place to Work standards locally, supporting organizations in building high-trust and high-performance environments.
Under the agreement, both organizations will collaborate to share global insights and research, promote employee engagement and leadership excellence, deliver joint training and development programs, and facilitate participation in regional and international conferences. The partnership will also explore opportunities to further enhance human capital capabilities in the region.
Speaking at the signing, Ratnayaka said the collaboration would extend their mission of building great workplaces to the Maldives, adding that they look forward to supporting organizations through shared expertise and global insights.
Ahmed Ibrahim noted that the partnership aligns with MAHRP’s commitment to bringing international best practices to the Maldives and enabling organizations to develop strong workplace cultures that meet global standards.
As part of the collaboration, MAHRP is expected to participate in the Great Place to Work Sri Lanka Conference scheduled for September 2026.
This partnership reinforces MAHRP’s ongoing efforts to elevate the HR profession and support the development of future-ready organizations in the Maldives.
