The island of Kandhikulhudhoo has the potential for economic development due to its unique natural features, according to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
The President made the remarks while speaking to the people of Kendhikulhudhoo, South Miladhunmadulu, this morning.
The President announced at the meeting that in order to boost island tourism, the government would establish small and medium-sized businesses through the recently established Visitor Economy Council.
He promised the attendees during his speech at the gathering that nothing would be done in violation of the Constitution. Additionally, he informed the populace of the measures being taken to ensure that the parliamentary elections are conducted in a way that will facilitate public participation.
