Two people were killed and three others were injured in a speedboat grounding near Gaafu Alif Atoll Vilingilig, according to the Gaafu Alif Atoll Hospital on Saturday.
Misbah Abdul Muhsin, Dhoores, GA. Villingili, and Mohamed Shafeeu, Uraha, N. Landhoo, are said to have died.
A speedboat crashed into the GA. Villingili harbour, according to police.
In addition, three have been injured and in serious condition with one on a ventilator. The hospital is treating the three people who were hurt.
