President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed additional 20 Deputy Ministers to Government Ministries.

They are as follows:

  1. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs – Aminath Rana Hussain Shiham
  2. Deputy Minister of Homeland Security and Technology – Hussain Zeenee
  3. Deputy Minister of Homeland Security and Technology – Arham Hussain
  4. Deputy Minister of Homeland Security and Technology – Uz Hassaan Hameed
  5. Deputy Minister of Finance – Ahmed Aiman
  6. Deputy Minister of Health – Uz Ismail Zahir
  7. Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources – Uza Shafeega Naeem
  8. Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs – Sheikh Mutheeu Ismail Mohamed
  9. Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs – Sheikh Usam Mohamed Saeed
  10. Deputy Minister of Social and Family Development – Abdulla Rasheed
  11. Deputy Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation – Ali Nizar
  12. Deputy Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development – Uz Zaaid Ahmed
  13. Deputy Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation – Hassan Zihan

The President had appointed 26 deputy ministers to government ministries yesterday.

A Deputy Minister receives a monthly salary of MVR 35,500, which includes a basic salary of MVR 20,500 and an allowance of MVR 15,000.
