President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities of the Republic of Türkiye discussed on Monday on enhancing cooperation between the Maldives and Türkiye, particularly in the fields of education and social culture.
During the meeting held at the Presidential Guesthouse, Mr Eren and President Dr Muizzu discussed potential scholarship opportunities for Maldivian students and underscored the importance of advancing vocational training within the tourism sector.
At the call, both President Dr Muizzu and the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities, emphasised the need for training Maldivians in areas such as national defence, health, and medicine. In addition they spoke on expanding enrollments in specialized training programs tailored for mid-career professionals.
During the meeting, Mr Eren warmly welcomed President Dr Muizzu and conveyed his congratulations on the President’s recent assumption of office.
