In a post on his official X account this evening, the President referred to this achievement as a historic milestone, marking Mariyam Eshal Misbah as the first Maldivian athlete to earn a silver medal in an Asian-level shooting competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President also noted that Eshal excelled against competitors from 21 countries in a tournament featuring 23 Asian nations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
