President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated the \u201cJudicial Year 2025\u201d tonight during a ceremony held at the Islamic Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual ceremony to inaugurate the Judicial Year reflects on the achievements of the judiciary over the past year and sets goals for the upcoming year. This event provides an opportunity to learn from previous experiences and fosters interaction among judges and judicial sector employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony included the official recognition of a long-serving judge for the honourable retirement from service. At the ceremony, Uz Ahmed Muthasim Adnan, the Chief Justice of the Maldives, delivered the Judicial Statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the past eight years, special events have been organized to mark the inauguration of the Judicial Year, with the exception of 2021. In this regard, the national-level symposium titled \u201cJudicial Symposium\u201d held annually to improve the functioning of the judiciary would also be conducted this year.
